Is the procedure painful?
There is very little discomfort in most permanent make-up procedures. A topical anesthetic or a local anesthetic may be applied.

What is involved in Recovery?

After a permanent make-up procedure there will be a slight swelling and redness of the skin, which will subside quickly. You may resume normal activities immediately following the procedure. Normal healing is a process with final results not fully realized for three to six weeks.

Recovery Restrictions

Clients will have only temporary restrictions. Right after the procedure, clients must avoid steamy areas, such as spas or hot tubs, as well as contact with chlorine. They must not rub, pick, or apply additional cosmetics to the treated area until it is completely healed. The normal recovery time is 5 to 10 days.
